Arunachal Pradesh become State on 20th February 1987. It is situated in the North-Eastern part of India. Arunachal Pradesh has a long border with Bhutan to the west, China to the north and north-east and Myanmar to the eas. Arunachal Pradesh is known as 'Land of the Rising Sun'. It stretches from mountains in the north to the plains of Brahmaputra valley in the south. Arunachal is the largest state area-wise in the north-east region.
